What do you Remember?

Memory Lane…I got this from a friend’s blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses.

So, I've been thinking about all the fun times we've had together, from trick-or-treating, sleepovers, to amazing performances such as the hula in the trampoline frame, but one that really sticks out is when we were staying at Connie's and she went into labor with Alisha. We were left alone at her house and we were pretty scared. That is one week I'll never forget. Thanks for being such a great friend!

I remember the day I moved back into Millrace #11. You were the only one around and you really helped me feel welcome. I remember when you told me your dad was a religion teacher, and I was super excited because that is what my dad did too. :)
O and there were the fun times going swimming at your old apartment complex...and the sharing of clothing! that was the best!
Good times!!

Remember the time we went to Macey's because kiwis were on sale 10 for $1! We were so excited about it. Because what's not to be excited about right? That's a lot of kiwis. And for cheap. And it was a nice summer night. So on the way we rolled down all the windows and were singing at the top of our lungs to some cheesey love song (Open Arms???) And we were stopped at a red light and happened to look over into the next lane only to discover that a whole car load of cute boys were totally gawking at us making fools of ourselves? But we didn't even stop singing, we just started laughing and drove off to our kiwi sale.

Oh the things that I could say...remember when you colored on the house?!? ha ha jk
Waiting for Santa to come has always pretty high on my list of favorites especially when you throw in heart throb into the mix!
Selling suckers at pardes and of course our early morning paper route!
What else, I have really fond memories of you coming to the hospital when Ethan was born and just visiting and being excited together.

I don't know if I'll ever forget our wonderful nursery rhyme Halloween! There never was a prettier Little Bo Peep. And who knew that Dracula was also a nursery. Thank heavens for Shar! :)

Ambero, where to begin! I think of studying in your dads office at the Center, going over to French Hill to make chocolate chip cookies, singing at the lighting ceremony for the center, ahh..
Then, on to the roommate time, funny photos at Sundance, the Peter Breinholt concert, dealing with sticky situations with one of our other roommates (ahh!), the list goes on and on and on.

However, one of my favorite memories of you is the stories you would come home and tell us when you were student teaching. I loved the cries of "teacher, teacher," the little boys who were in love with you, the little girls who would cry, and the way you would read Jennie B Jones (is that the name?). I remember rolling with laughter from the stories of your class and the fabulous delivery by our very own, Ambero!
