Core Academy

Yesterday was my last day of teaching Core Academy! Hooray! It has been a great summer job, and I have really enjoyed being able to travel throughout the state of Utah and meet fabulous teachers from Logan to St. George and everywhere in-between. I have decided that working 2 or 3 days a week is the way to go. Although I can't believe that school starts in less than a month I am ready for the next new challenge. . . . the new challenge will involve somewhere between 20-25 six year olds who don't know how to button their own pants, write their own names, and are crying for about 1/2 the day (at least for the first week of school). I am excited to see their new little faces and know that by next May I will be sad to say goodbye to them....and hopefully they will have learned how to write their own names and button their own pants, but I can't really expect the crying to have stopped -- remember they are just six!

Good to know what I should expect from my little Eliza for the next year. Guess I will just have to deal with the crying....
