Never knew. . . . until last weekend

I never knew all the great things that Eugene Oregon had to hold until last weekend. 

Maybe ALL of you have heard of the many wonders found in Eugene and it is just ME who hasn't.

If you are thinking of taking a trip. . . . . here are 5 MUST SEE attractions to be found in the above mentioned location. 

 

5- WINCO:  Seriously, it is organized totally different than the WINCO in Utah . . . . and rightfully so, because doesn't WINCO stand for Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado and Oregon.  I don't see a U in the name to represent Utah, so it must be that you must go to a WINCO when you are in one of the W, I, N, C or O states. 

 

4 - Walmart:  It wasn't a Super Walmart, but they handled all returns beautifully and the shopping cart provided an "ice skating" rink for the little ones while we shopped.  Amazing.  Who knew that Walmart's shopping carts could provide such entertainment. . . . and they didn't even charge extra.  Walmart is nice like that. (sidenote: this is twice now that he has gotten me to go to a walmart. . . big news, because I do NOT like Walmart.  Sacrifice my friends, sacrifice)

3 - Costco:  Tasters on a Saturday.  Is there anything better?  I tell you not.  If you don't want the taster, He will.  So, just get it anyway.  Lesson learned. 

2 - Pre's Trail:  What better place to go running than in Track Town USA!?  We didn't go really far, but ran nonetheless. . . .it was mildly rainy and foggy, and beautiful.  Plus, I got in some good one-on-one time with the sister-in-law.  All in all a success. 

1-  Eric:  Attractive, right!? I think so too. This was the MUST SEE attraction that I really went to Oregon for, and I wasn't disappointed.  I think that if he lived in timbucktoo (is that actually a place, I'm not sure) I would probably go there in a heartbeat too.  In fact, I think I'll go back to see the "sights" of Eugene" as soon as possible......like, I have  a browser window open with flights just waiting to be purchased.  I'm sure that there are other attractions I just haven't seen yet there, but as long as I get to see #1, I'll be happy.  

ps:  I am not just saying all these nice things about Eugene Oregon because his whole family reads my blog. For real.  

I am laughing. . . . and not really that short. . . and this is a cell phone picture, but really how do you even take pictures of yourself!!?
