Is doing a whole lot. . . .

Look at all the things I am. . . . . .

Making... sugar cookies with cream cheese frosting.
Cooking... up a really great plan for my future.
Reading... The Infidel -- truly fascinating book about women in the Muslim culture.
Wanting... to not feel like crying each morning when I wake up.
Looking...really great in a pink sweater and cute jewelry.
Playing... music on I-tunes.
Wasting... time on this stupid blog post.
Sewing... pioneer hats and skirts for the YW to go on trek (at this rate I should just go to).
Wishing...that I was at a school valentine's day party today. (somehow they always restore my hope in Love)
Enjoying... steamed broccoli.
Waiting... for my taxes to miraculously finish themselves.
Liking... that I have a long weekend ahead hopefully filled with the St. George sunshine.
Wondering... if he is sad at all or just relieved to be done.
Loving... a Friday afternoon to clean my house before the long weekend.
Hoping... after the sugar cookies I eat that I can run at least 3 miles tomorrow without wanting to die.
Marvelling... at the kindness of friends I didn't even know I had.
Needing...to look at the budget. . . not really wanting to.
Smelling... "French Kiss Scensty" -- it's the most action I am getting.
Wearing... a pair of skinny jeans (true. . . not sure if I can leave the house with them on, but I feel great wearing them in my house where nobody can see me)
Following...a plan that is greater than the one I would pick for myself.
Noticing... that my eyes are dry and kind of hurt.
Knowing... that I should be working not blogging.
Thinking... about things I have no control over, but can't seem to stop worrying about.
Bookmarking... websites of races that I think I should sign up for.
Opening... a new chapter of my life.
Giggling... nope, not giggling.
Feeling...a little guarded. Not so sure I will share my true feelings with anyone for a while.

what are you?

Oh Amber, I just love you. I wish we were next door neighbors and could do all those things together (except the skinny jeans part; not even close to that one... :) Call me when you need to chat or need a girl night.

I have to agree with your friend Natalie. I love you too! I love reading your blog and it made me smile to hear you were enjoying wearing your skinny jeans (I've been avoiding mine for a couple of weeks but need to get them back on again). I've been trying to pick up one mess after another. Once it's picked up three more have magically appeared in the process and I still need to make my sugar cookie dough for the weekend too. You're fabulous and continue to inspire me.

I am:
Hoping: you have some dove chocolates stashed somewhere
Wishing: I didn't! :)
Glad: that you are going to make it--even if you don't believe it yet.
Jealous: of the skinny jeans (and the skinny legs/rear IN the jeans
Grateful: it's the weekend and you have something fun planned!

call anytime!

Oh, Ambero,
I am:
wishing I was there and knew what was going on
glad you still have your sense of humor about it all
loving your new shoes (I'm sure they made your legs look fabulous!)
laughing about the skinny jeans because I bought a pair, but have yet to wear them in public, maybe if I were in shape like you.
hoping that happier times are on the horizon and that you have a great weekend (and maybe come visit!)

Love you!

Sweet Amber, "This to shall pass." In the meantime, buy some more shoes and come to my house for chocolate.

Amber, come see me in Alaska. You need to do something incredibly drastic and spontaneous. Put those skinny jeans on your sexy legs and head to the airport. Come here, or Milwaukee. :) Both are crazy fun places to be right now! Haha, I'll take you!

I am... grateful! That you shared that sugar cookie recipe! I love a good cookie, and can't wait to try it - especially if it's from Kneaders!

So sorry about the person no longer helping you smile. You will get through this! Hope you had a great trip to St. George, if you made it!

Big hugs!
