Ever since Ethan found out that I was moving all of my books from school he has been really excited to come to my "library" in the basement. Last week I finally got everything all organized and so it was library time. Ethan called me on Sunday to see if he could come to the 'libaree'. Camden was sleeping, so I went to pick up Ethan and he and I had some one-on-one library time. It was fun to see how excited he was about everything.
I put a rug down and my picnic table and some chairs etc. Really, it is kind of fun to have all my books still out and organized. Don't get too worried about me. I don't go sit in my basement and read all alone or anything.
I think that Ethan's favorite part of the library is the easel. He drew pictures of both of us. I am the one with "long hair" (in pigtails apparently) and he is the one with glasses.

I love it! Now Ber, will you add another "to do" to your list for me? I'm trying to grow our little children's library, but I'm coming up at a loss for which books I should buy. Will you blog your top 25 MUST HAVE children's books? I'm talking imaginative, fun books that you love to read over and over again. We've got a gazillion board/baby books, but I'm looking to move up into something a little more interesting for Isaac and I to read together. And I KNOW that if anyone will have good recommendations, it will be you!
That is tooo cute! :) I think his photo is a pretty accurate depiction, compared to some of the other "teacher" drawings we've seen. Do you remember the one Alyson drew of me and I was wearing a pink sweater with blue "embellishments"?
