loves these DVD's

So, about a year ago I first saw this fabulous set of DVD's put out by Scholastic and I fell in

LOVE

I searched and searched for it everywhere I went and even looked online to buy it, but it was too expensive. Then, one day in December I went to Costco (which I can't do very often for fear that I will buy lots of stuff I don't need) and low and behold they had my DVD's! I snatched those little DVD's up and put them right into my cart (which I am happy to say wasn't even full of stuff I didn't need).

They have provided me with hours of happiness.
Now, before you start to get nervous about my media choices and wonder what kind of an elementary world I live in the pleasure has come through sharing them with my kids at school and my nephews -- and probably it is more like minutes of happiness than hours. Truly though, I would recommend that anyone with children get these DVD's. They are all "books" on DVD and done really well. They even have an option to let you read along with the book.

I decided that rather than hand in a receipt and get reimbursed for my purchase I would just keep it and hope that someday I have children who can reap the benefits of my wise purchase.

Do you think that Costco has any more? I know the one here doesn't have them. I have like one of the dvd's and I would love to get the entire collection. If you happen to be at costco and you see them just give me a call. How much were they?

Amber! I just found these on sale at Amazon for $48 bucks plus free shipping (over 50% off the normal Amazon price ... is that close to your Costco deal???). On your recommendation I totally snatched them up without thinking twice. Now I have to explain to my husband why I HAD to use the credit card that I promised I wouldn't use anymore ... Will you back me up when I say it's for literacy's sake and the sake of our children? And yes, secretly, I think I just want them for myself. You know how I love love books! Oh and PS. I can totally see you someday in the not to distant future driving around in your Odysey with a gaggle of children in the back "reading" their dvds :) You're all set! Now all we have to do is locate that man who will a)father those children and b)buy you your dream car. I'm sure when we present him with the aforementioned scenario, any eligible man would jump at the chance!! Gee, can I make a comment any longer? I think so ... but I wont. Love you Ber!
